Past Shows

Since Jill Sobule (Jan. 20, 2017) is the first concert we will have, there are no photographs yet from Quark House Concerts.

However, Quark House Concerts metamorphosed from Holden’s Lair House Concerts, which ran in northeast Baltimore, sporadically, from 2002-2010. That site linked above has photographs from the old place on Walther Avenue. There, I was able to book a lot of my favorite musicians: Doria Roberts, Caleb Stine and the Brakemen, Kristin Plater, Wally Pleasant, Teddy Goldstein, Sam Shaber, Lori Amey, and even Patti Rothberg, who once scored a hit single and appearances on Leno and Letterman.

Now we are Quark House Concerts (Holden, my canine companion for the first decade of the 21st century, passed away at a ripe old age a few years ago). Right now, we are planning on hosting house concerts every couple of months.
